Mölnlycke Health Care and Smith & Nephew have entered into a settlement agreement which will result in the dismissal of all pending lawsuits for alleged infringement by Smith & Nephew of Mölnlycke’s US patent 5,635,201 and European patent 0633757.
The terms of the settlement are confidential, but agreeable to the parties. The agreement relates to S&N only and refers to the aforementioned patents. We will continue to vigorously defend these patents where we choose to against other third party companies, and Mölnlycke’s unique and industry-leading advanced wound care products will continue to set the standard for performance, patient care and reduction of pain and trauma.
