93 nurses in the Nordic countries have tried and evaluated the newly launched Tubifast 2-Way Stretch, on all together more than 500 patients. The results from these evaluations are very encouraging!
Findings
- 93% of the testers prefer Tubifast 2-Way Stretch to their current dressing retention product.
- 97% of the responders want to continue using Tubifast 2-Way Stretch.
- 99% rate Tubifast 2-Way Stretch as a Very good or Good dressing retention product.
The evaluations were conducted during the autumn, on all kind of different wounds and in most body locations. The evaluators got one roll of Tubifast 10 m together with an evaluation form, tried Tubifast 2-Way Stretch on some patients and returned the filled in form to us.
Happy testers
Almost all testers were pleased with the Tubifast 2-Way Stretch and we had a lot of positive comments:
- The patients are very happy. So am I, the bandage stays in place, nice to work with
- A super product that benefits both patients and staff
- Not having to use adhesive is gentle to the skin
- Better thanks to the 2-way stretch
- I think it's very easy to use, compared to other bandages
- We tried it to cover PVCs, and it worked very well!
- This is more comfortable, softer and conformable than the old Tubifast and it doesn't fray as much
